Kalaburagi: Former Minister Malikaiah Guttedar has said that some people in our BJP Party are pitting my brother Nitin Guttedar against him.

Addressing a press conference at a private hotel in the City, he said, “If I win this time, some people don’t want me to become a Minister in the next BJP Government. This is also a ploy to create confusion among the voters by fielding my brother into the fray and defeat me,” he said.

Agreeing with the confusion over the Afzalpura Assembly ticket, he said, “My brother Nitin Guttedar is still young. He also wants to become an MLA, and the desire is not wrong. I was an MLA at the age of 27. Now he deserves to be an MLA by all means. If he is given a ticket by the BJP, I will work for him. He will work in my favour if I am given a ticket. Since it’s a home, we’ll see it is alright,” he said.
