Bidar: In a tragic incident, Mallappa, a young man was swept away by floodwaters while attempting to cross the bridge near Dhanur village in Basavakalyana taluk.
He was lost in the strong currents of the river. Since then, the search operation has been ongoing, involving fire and rescue personnel and villagers.
Despite their continuous efforts until evening, there has been no trace of the missing youth even as the search was in its third day on Thursday. Despite continuous efforts, no clues or leads have been found. Authorities and rescue teams are actively involved in the search operation, determined to find any trace of the missing individual.
The State Disaster Response Force has deployed 25 trained personnel who were actively involved in the search efforts on Friday.
Sadly, despite their efforts, there has been no significant breakthrough or any clue regarding the whereabouts of the missing young man.
