Bidar: ABVP activists protested in the city against the state government’s decision to scrap the new National Education Policy (NEP) introduced by the Central government. They submitted a memorandum addressed to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to the Deputy Commissioner.
Our education system dates back to the British era. The Central Government has introduced a new education policy, which has been praised for its reforms. Scrapping it at this stage isn’t the right move, and doing so for political gain is not justified. They called on the Chief Minister to retract his decision immediately. Many participated in the protest led by Shashikanth Rakale, the district convener.
