Bidar: Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu B. Chavan toured several villages in Aurad and Kamlanagara Taluks on Sunday March 12 and launched various development works worth Rs. 8.5 Crore. He also performed bhoomi pooja for Rs. 321 Lakh Jal Jeevan Mission works in Mudhol (B) Village, Rs. 13 Lakh worth clean drinking water unit at Hassikera Thaanda, Rs. 25 Lakh clean drinking water unit at Basavanavadi Thaanda, Rs. 13 Lakh clean drinking water plant at Mamadapur and Jal Jeevan Mission works worth Rs. 80 Lakh, clean drinking water units worth Rs. 13 Lakh in Rayapalli and Medapalli.
The Minister also launched the Jal Jeevan mission works at Gudapalli at a cost of Rs 116.03 lakh, Chintamani Tanda at Rs 127.11 lakh, Ekalara Tanda at Rs 88.42 lakh and construction of a clean drinking water plant at Bardapur village at a cost of Rs 13 lakh.
“I am constantly working towards providing all the basic amenities including roads, drinking water, and good schools for children in all the villages of Aurad (B) Assembly Constituency. Jal Jeevan Mission work has been taken up across the constituency to permanently solve the water problem in Aurad Taluk. The objective of the project is to provide water to every household,” he said.
Jal Jeevan Mission work should be done properly, he added and directed the officials to implement the project successfully by working with utmost care.
