Bidar: The assault on a youth in the Town on Saturday April 23 has nothing to do with the BJP, said former MLA Prakash Khandre. The accused youth in the incident are not our party workers. For the past fifteen years youth have been involved in murder, extortion, double murder, ganja, drug consumption and betting in a cinematic way in the Taluk and MLA Ishwara Khandre has made a serious allegation that I am directly responsible for this, he noted.
Speaking to mediapersons and denying allegations he said, “MLAs have no control over Taluk Administration. Corruption is rampant in every department. So, no public works are done, he said. He complained that MLA Khandre is trying to instill fear in the people during the elections as he is desperate to find wide support for him in the constituency.
“I condemn the behaviour of MLA Khandre. In the announcement he demanded the Police Department of the District to do a proper investigation into the incident and take legal action.
