Bidar: Former Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu Chauhan has condemned animal husbandry minister Venkatesh’s statement on the anti-cow slaughter law. The Congress had enacted the 1964 Act, we had made it tougher, it helped protect the cow, he said.

“I condemn why the animal husbandry minister is saying that cattle should not be cut”, he said.

Former animal husbandry minister Prabhu Chavan said in Bidar that the current animal husbandry minister Venkatesh has mental problem and he also demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should change Venkatesh’s portfolio. Prabhu Chauhan also alleged that Congress is doing this to appease the Muslim community.

Former minister Prabhu Chauhan has warned the state government that if the Congress moves to repeal the anti-cow slaughter law, the seers and BJP workers in the state will launch a fierce agitation across the state.
