Ballari: In a gruesome highway accident four people travelling in a car died on the spot in Kudligi town of Ballari district. The accident occurred on the national highway 13 in the wee hours at Shivapura near Kudligi town.
The deceased are Kiran, Manjunath, Basavaraj and Shivanand, all residents of Sidhagi town in Vijayapura district.

The car collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction. JCB machines had to be employed to extricate the bodies from the car after the accident.

Police team led by Kudligi SP Savishankar Naik rushed to the accident spot.  Further investigations are in progress.
