Ballari: Former Minister Janardhana Reddy’s daughter Brahmani announced her entry into active politics on Wednesday January 11. The day also coincided with Reddy’s birthday.
Addressing a public meeting held on the grounds opposite Janardhana Reddy’s residence, Brahmani said that her father was a dreamer. The well-being of the entire State is his dream. “I was worried when he said he was alone in politics. So, on the day of my father’s birthday, I have come before you. You’re not alone. I’m with you, father, and so are thousands of activists,” she said.
Brahmani raised slogans emphasising the importance of Janardhana Reddy’s win for the overall development of Ballari. She also said that to support her father in the next Karnataka Assembly elections, she will be travelling around the district.
