Hubbali: Inaugurating a health camp at the Harobelavadi village in Dharwad taluk on Sunday, BJP state unit president Pralhad Joshi spoke extensively on healthcare facilities and related requirements in the village. With this regard, he also appreciated the organizations that extending healthcare facilities in rural areas.
Organisations extending healthcare facilities to rural areas are doing a yeoman’s service”, he said.
Speaking on the development of rural areas, Joshi went on to speak about developing Harobelavadi and Kabbenur villages which have been chosen as the ‘MP’s model villages’. He said that his dream was to develop these areas into model villages providing all the necessary facilities. He said the government primary school in the village would be transformed into a new building using funds from Oil India.

Kshamata Seva Samsthe, Asha Cardiac and Diabetes Foundation, Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences and Jnana Ganga, Hubballi, jointly organised the health camp. Physician G.B. Sattur made introductory remarks. A host of officials and elected representatives were present.
Over 1,500 persons were screened and 40 persons were selected for cataract and other eye operations during the camp
