Hubballi: During a public rally in Hubballi, Karnataka, on Wednesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed confidence that a potential third term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi would effectively tackle terrorism and Left-Wing Extremism in the nation. Shah highlighted the achievements under Modi’s leadership, citing successful missions like Chandrayaan, Mangal Yaan, and Aditya Yaan.
Reflecting on past security challenges, Shah criticized the Congress government led by Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, accusing them of failing to address terrorism effectively. He pointed to instances like the Uri and Pulwama attacks, emphasizing that under Modi’s leadership, swift and decisive actions were taken, including surgical and air strikes within 10 days.
Shah also criticized the Congress for the delay in the Ayodhya Ram temple case, stating that under Modi’s second term, the case was resolved, leading to the groundbreaking ceremony and inauguration of the temple.
Furthermore, Shah alleged that key Congress leaders, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi, skipped the Ram Lalla’s Pran Pratistha ceremony for fear of losing their vote bank.
Appealing to voters in the Dharwad Parliamentary Constituency, Shah urged them to ensure the victory of Union Minister and BJP candidate Pralhad Joshi by a significant margin. He highlighted Joshi’s contributions, such as ensuring the distribution of a maximum number of COVID-19 vaccines to Hubballi-Dharwad cities and overseeing the construction of 19 lakh houses in Dharwad. Shah emphasized the importance of retaining Joshi’s representation for the constituency.
