Udupi: Large Ganesha idols made of materials causing pollution have been a major cause of concern.
Many people have worked out eco-friendly alternatives but working out their own solution, three artists from Udupi gave a yummy creamy twist to their art work and the Ganesha that emerged is making devotees drool!
Sai Radha TVS showroom in Udupi is smelling of yummy biscuits this Chathurthi, thanks to artists Srinath Manipal, Venky Palimar and Ravi, who put together 15 kgs of biscuits of various flavours to make an 8ft tall Ganesha cut out.
The artists first made a cardboard cut out and then stuck biscuits on the cut out. The Ganesh will be kept for public viewing for couple of days here.
Sai Radha Group MD Manohar Shetty who inaugurated the Chathurthi programme at the showroom lauded the artists for their concern for environment and said that the model put up at the showroom is worth emulating.
