Udupi: A woman from Kumta, Uttar Kannada gave birth to a baby here in a railway station toilet on May 26.

Vijaya(35), wife of Raju came to meet her uncle, who is admitted at KMC hospital Udupi, by train  In the train she developed labour pain and delivered the baby in the toilet. The mother and the baby were shifted to Ajjarkad Government hospital.

Reportedly both the mother and baby weighing 2.5kg are fine.
