Udupi: Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Nation President Tejaswi Surya has said that a proposal for a National Investigation Agency (NIA) branch in Mangaluru will be brought up on the House Floor in Parliament.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Earlier, I had brought the Centre’s attention to the need of the NIA branch office in Mangaluru. I will once again ask for the opening of an NIA office, since the terror activities in the Coastal region keep happening.”

“Terrorism is a tool and a well-planned strategy to create communal tensions and disharmony in the society,” he added.
