Udupi: Government schools will resume with the new academic year on Wednesday May 31, and 72 government schools in Udupi Vidhan Sabha Constituency are ready to welcome children.

MLA Yash Pal Suvarna will inaugurate the golden commencement ceremony at Valakadu Government High School in Udupi City at 9.00 am. Then Nittoor Hanumanta Nagar School at 10.00 am, Board High School Brahmavar at 10.30 am, and K.P.S. at 11.30 am. MLA will participate in the school opening ceremony of Kokkarne.

The MLA has requested all the representatives of the Udupi Vidhan Sabha, members of the school development committee, members of the parent committee, education lovers to participate in the programme of their respective schools in the vicinity and increase the excitement of the children.

MLA’s office informed that on behalf of the MLA’s promoter Pushpananda Foundation, on the occasion of the opening ceremony of the school, a sweet snack distribution programme will be organised to about 12,000 school children of all government schools under the jurisdiction of Udupi Vidhan Sabha.
