Udupi: More than 50 campers fell ill after being attacked by a bee near a Tibetan Camp in Mundagod. State-level Office-Bearers of the Dalit Sangharsha Samiti were injured when they came to the Tibetan Camp.

The Dalita Sangharsha Samiti had organised a two-day camp at the Tibetan Camp on Friday March 3 and Saturday March 4. More than 300 people including 10 Office-bearers of the Samiti from each District of the State, attended the camp. On Saturday, when the study camp was about to begin, the bees attacked at once. More than 50 campers were injured in the incident and have been admitted to a Government Hospital in Mundagod.

One has reportedly been shifted to Hubballi for further treatment.
