Udupi: Due to negligent driving by a lorry driver, scooter and a Mahindra pick-up collided on to a barricade around noon On Tuesday February 14.

The scooter rider, who was seriously injured in the accident, succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital in Mangaluru.

The accident took place at Padubidri – Karkala Junction. The junction has been identified as an accident zone in Padubidri.
