Udupi: An entrepreneur from Shirur died after the ladder he was standing on made contact with a live electric wire.

The deceased has been identified as Sathish Subraya Prabhu (52), BJP activist and the President of the Shirur Government Pre-University college progress committee.

According to sources, he was cutting coconuts with the workers when the incident happened and his ladder contacted a live electrical wire.
