Udupi: In a suspicious manner, an individual was found deceased within the premises of the Karavali Hotel. Concerns have arisen regarding a potential homicide, as there is no identification on the deceased person.
The individual’s right hand has been severed with a sharp weapon, causing significant blood loss, possibly leading to the person’s demise. The Udupi city police have visited the scene and are conducting an investigation. Medical professionals from the Forensic Science Laboratory have also visited the site to conduct an examination.
Social worker Vishu Shetty of the Ambalapadi area has assisted in transporting the deceased body to the KMC Shavagaraka (mortuary). Social workers Nityananda Olokadu and Ramadas Palan have been cooperating with legal proceedings.
