Udupi Hijab row: Students denied entry, Edu Min says it wasn’t worn earlier

Udupi: The hijab row at the Government Pre-University College is refusing to die.

On Friday February 4, once again the students were denied entry to the college. Meanwhile, State Education Minister B. C. Nagesh has alleged that the students were not wearing the hijab earlier and the problem started only 20 days ago.

The Udupi Hijab row has spill over to the other parts of the State as Hijab vs Saffron Shawl row with students in Kundapur, and Shivamogga too joining into this turmoil threatening academic atmosphere in the educational institutions.
