Udupi: A decomposed body was found on Thursday April 6 near Bettu Bridge near Hebri in the District.

The deceased has been identified as Prakash (55), a resident of Kuchcharu.

He would heavily drink, leave home and not return for several days.

Accordingly, he left home on March 24 and a case was registered at Hebri Police Station alleging that he collapsed due to heavy drinking and died due to lack of food.
