Udupi: CM Basavaraj Bommai is visiting the temple to atone for sins. For four years, the BJP Government has done misrule and corruption, said Leader of The Opposition in the Legislative Council B. K. Hariprasad and added that he is now visiting the temple to perform penance.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi did a safari but the tiger was not found. In Chamarajanagara, 34 people lost their lives in an oxygen tragedy. The Prime Minister has not consoled the family, he noted.

Replying to a question, he said, “Laxman Savadi is a senior political leader who held the post of Deputy Chief Minister. Anyone can join the Congress if they agree with our ideology. They are welcome,” he said.
