Udupi : One person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a horrific accident between two bikes in Bailur Lower Town on Karkala-Udupi Main Road.

Ramesh Acharya, a resident of Yarlappadi Kantargoli is the deceased. Ramesh Acharya’s wife Shakuntala Acharya and Jharka residents Sudhir and David have been seriously injured and admitted to Manipal Hospital.

Ramesh Acharya and his wife were crossing the road on a bike when the bike coming from Udupi to Jharkal collided and four persons were thrown on the road and sustained serious head injuries.

Ramesh Acharya died while being rushed to the hospital.
