Udupi: The Additional District Court here has granted anticipatory bail to the accused in a case of allegedly assaulting and defaming a woman by illegally entering immovable property.

It was alleged that Abhishek, Padmavathi and Rajeevi, all residents of Kodi, entered Jalaja’s property and assaulted her. The accused were granted conditional bail.

lawyer Handakunda Ashok Shetty argued on behalf of the accused.
