Udupi: In a tragic incident, a four-year-old child died after falling into a cow dung pit.

The deceased has been identified as Muneshwara (4), son of Okan, a native of Jharkhand. According to sources, Okan worked as labourer in a farm.

According to sources, the incident happened when the child was playing in the farmland.

Hebri police have registered a case.
