Udupi: The last rites of two unidentified persons kept in the mortuary of the Ajjarakadu District Hospital, were performed by the Police, the Municipal Corporation, and the District Civic Body at the burial ground in Beedinagudde.

The media release was issued as the address of the deceased was not traced. As the heirs did not contact them even after the expiry of the deadline, a legal process was carried out and the two bodies were buried honourably.

Investigation Assistant Vishwanath Shetty Amasebailu, Nityananda Volakaadu of the civic body, Pradeep Ajjarakadu, Rajesh Kaup and others were present. Annappa Poojary and P Vishnu have cooperated.
