Udupi: Two members of a family reportedly committed suicide by consuming poison in Kalya village of Karkala Taluk.

The police identified the deceased as Naveen (28) and Rithesh (26). Naveen was working in a factory whereas Rithesh was working in a private company in Manipal. Sources said the duo was alcoholic.

A complaint has been registered at the Karkala Rural Police Station.
