Kundapur : The driver of a tipper sustained injuries when  he all of a sudden lost control over the vehicle which overturned  on the National Highway 66  near the Trasi Maravanthe Beach on Tuesday July 22 evening.

The lorry laden with jelly stones and which was heading towards Maravanthe was over speeding resulting in the mishap. The front portion of the tipper was  badly mangled in the mishap.

The accident also disrupted traffic on the route for some time as the jelly which the tipper was transporting, had scattered all over the road.
