Udupi: A 42-year-old man died after his scooter collided with a stationary truck on NH 66 near Tallur on Sunday June 5.
Sathish Jogi, a native of Halageri Tenkabettu in Kambadakone village, has been identified as the deceased. In the accident, pillion rider Akash Jogi (17) sustained serious injuries.
Satish Jogi was riding his scooter when he collided with a parked truck on the side of the road. He passed away on the way to the hospital.
A case has been registered.
