Sanvi Rao Honnavar, a II PUC commerce student, has emerged as the top scorer in the state after revaluation in the recently held PU exams, securing an impressive 598 out of 600. Initially scoring 595, Sanvi’s dedication and hard work led to an improvement in her English score from 95 to 98 after revaluation, solidifying her position as the new topper in the commerce stream.
Sanvi’s academic excellence is complemented by her supportive nature, as she has served as a scribe for her physically challenged brother, Samarth, in all his exams, including MCom. Samarth is a renowned chess champion. Sanvi’s plans for the future include pursuing BCom with CA, a testament to her ambitious goals and determination.
Acknowledging the support she received from her college, Creative PU College in Karkala, and MPE Central School in Honnavar, Sanvi expressed gratitude to the management and staff. Hailing from a family with a strong educational background—her father, Jagadish Rao BS, is a retired banker, and her mother, Vinutha Bhat, serves as a training officer at ITI—Sanvi has consistently excelled academically, securing 96% in her class 10 CBSE exams.
Beyond academics, Sanvi is an all-rounder, actively participating in various cultural activities such as Bharatanatyam, Hindustani music, drawing, monoacting, anchoring, elocution, and Yakshagana. Her involvement as a Rajya Puraskar guide reflects her commitment to personal growth and community engagement.
