Udupi: Thieves broke into the most famous Kalikamba temple of Barkoor and stolen valuables including silver, gold and bronze articles.

Police said that the theft happened on Friday and more than Rs 4 lakhs worth articles were missing from the temple.

The CCTV cameras have captured the thieves as they entered the temple. It is learnt that they broke the door and got into the temple.

A case has been registered at Brahmavar police station.
