Udupi: Responding to the many social media post stating that Rs 4 Lakh compensation is being given to families of victims by central government, Deputy Commissioner of Udupi, G Jagadeesha said that this news is fake.

He clarified that no such program is existing at the moment.

He also said that the news which said applications for this will be available at the DC office is also not true.
