Udupi: Looks like robbers are now on a spree of robbing quarters of government officials. After three houses of government officials were stolen recently, on April 5, two quarters of government officials in Ajjarkadu were targeted by the robbers.

While Excise Inspector Dharmappa KT was away from home to attend a wedding, the thieves decamped with valuables worth Rs 24,000 from his quarters.Meanwhile valuables worth Rs 15,000 were stolen from the residence of PWD staff Natraj HC, in the same vicinity.

Udupi Town Police have registered the case.
