Revised Toll Rates Effective at Four Gates Across Twin Districts

As of April 1st, revised toll rates will come into effect at four toll gates situated across the twin districts. The adjustments, while not substantial for one-way fees, notably impact two-way travel and monthly pass holders.

Toll gate charges undergo nationwide revisions annually on April 1st. Here’s a breakdown of the updated rates at each toll gate:

Brahmarakootlu Toll Gate:

  • One-way travel: No change for cars, jeeps, vans, LCVs, and mini-buses, remaining at Rs 30. Trucks and buses with two axles see an increase from Rs 105 to Rs 110.
  • Two-way travel: Cars, jeeps, and vans rates rise to Rs 50 from Rs 45. Other categories remain unchanged.
  • Monthly pass: Increases observed across all categories, with cars, jeeps, and vans now at Rs 1060.

Talapady Toll Gate:

  • One-way travel: Charges for cars, jeeps, and vans increase from Rs 50 to Rs 55. Other rates remain stable.
  • Two-way travel: Incremental increases across all categories.
  • Monthly pass: Higher charges across the board.

Hejamady Toll Gate:

  • One-way travel: Minor increase for trucks and buses with two axles.
  • Two-way travel: Incremental rise for trucks and buses.
  • Monthly pass: Across-the-board increases observed.

Sastan-Gundmi Toll Gate:

  • One-way travel: Trucks and buses with two axles see a slight increase.
  • Two-way travel: Incremental changes across all categories.
  • Monthly pass: Higher charges observed for all vehicle types.

Additionally, monthly pass charges for non-commercial local vehicles at all four toll gates will be Rs 340, up from the previous Rs 330.
