Udupi: Students protest led by Vidhyarthi Yuva Sena, demanded a detailed enquiry as well as an immediate arrest of the culprits in Rathna Kotari’s case, here at Byndoor, in front of clock tower today .

A large number of students from the several colleges participated in the protest. Students from the Jnana Ganga College Moodubelle, Trisha College Udupi, Women’s college Ajjarkad, MGM Manipal, Hiriyadka Government college etc., participated after boycotting the classes. 

However, after the Soujanya case, this is another incident where small girls are targeted for such crimes.  Students warned the police to look after such incidents and that should not occur again, also they demanded that colleges should have aid post in their compound.

The memorandum was submitted to ASP Suraj Indrali, Yuva Sena District President, Prashanth, Barath and others were also present.
