Udupi: Minister for Sports and Youth Empowerment Pramod Madhwaraj has lauded the Indian women’s cricket team for its good performance in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup-2017 held in England.

On Saturday minister announced a cash reward of Rs 25 lakh each for Rajeshwari Gayakwad from Vijayapura and Veda Krishnamurthy from Kadur, Chikkamagaluru.

The Indian women’s cricket team finished runners-up in the tournament.
