Kantavara: Prakhyath Poojary of Prakruti School won the third edition of state level Karate championship organised by the “Karate-Du Kenryu–Kan and Shotokan India” at Kumta in Uttara Kannada district between February 3 and 4.

Prakhyath Poojary, a seventh grade student won the gold in the 8-12 years age category in the two-day contest.

Prakhyath already has a gold medal in Karate to his credit.

Founder of Prakruti Group of Institutions Chrispine Jerald Crasta, members of administrative board, teaching and non-reaching staff congratulated the young winner for his credible performance.
