Udupi: It has been reported that a policeman died after he allegedly shot himself at Adi Udupi here on Friday April 29.

The deceased has been identified as Rajesh Kunder, a head constable attached to the Armed Reserve Police Force. He was on duty at a school in Adi Udupi guarding SSLC answer sheets when he resorted to this extreme step.

He used his service weapon to shoot himself.
