Karkala: Arif, a physically challenged student of Chethana Special school has bagged the second position in the National level Bocce competition.

In the recently held competition in Bihar for special school children, Arif beat many strong opponents to grab the second spot in the game of Bocce thereby bringing laurels to school, district and the state.

Arif is the son of Abbas and Fathima, residents of Ajekar village in Karkala.

School principal Shanthi, Convenor Raghunath Shetty, Board members, staff and students congratulated Arif on his success.
