Palimar Math to adopt a village in Kodagu

Udupi: As Kodagu is reeling under nature’s fury, people from all over Karnataka are mobilising money and materials to help the victims of the floods with an open heart. Paryaya Shri Shri Vidhyadheesha Theertha of Palimar Math has decided to adopt and restore one village of the flood-stricken Kodagu District.

“Sarvabhoota Dayapushpam, as said in the shastras, the blossom of kindness is one among the eight bhaavapushpas to be offered to the Lord”, the Swamiji said. “It becomes our greatest concern and responsibility to lend a shoulder to the flood-stricken areas of the Kodagu district of our state”, he added.

He also asked that the devotees to join hands with them in this great initiative and be a subject to the kindness of the Lord, by contributing to their level best.
