Not only state; entire country is under threat of terrorism: K J George

Udupi: Karnataka Home Minister K J George in his visit to the district, said that terrorism is not only limited to the state but the entire nation is under the threat of it, central and state government working together to get out of this problem.

He added that there are several incidents, which indicates communal clashes at many places, police and other officials are trying to nab it out and it is nothing to do with politics.

Regarding the arrest of the four terrorists from Bhatkal, he said that police should be appreciated for the arrest. He further added that the three or four members involved in terrorism does not mean that entire Bhatkal is a terror hub.

While answering a query regarding 12 MLAs that are against the chief minister, he said that it has been exaggerated by the media, there is no internal indifferences, Congress party is united.

Regarding Arkavati de-notification, he said CM has not de-notified an inch land. If at all it happened, then it was done by BJP as per Supreme Court order. However, the CM has re-modified it.

State government always welcomes the naxals who wanted to surrender themselves they are given surrender package to bring them to mainstream of the society. A committee is formed under the leadership of chief secretary, to solve the problems related to them.
