Udupi: Recently after taking charge as the Udupi District Deputy Commissioner 37-year-old Dr R Vishal is ready to bring change and development in the district.

Addressing on various issues in the district Dr R Vishal said, “The forest rights will be given top priority. Urban local development (Nagarodhana) will be effectively implemented. Revenue Adalath will be given more importance.”

He said proper allocation of ‘property rights’ will be given to uplift the development in the district. The people who stay at 2.5 cents of government land will be given title deeds, he asserted.

Further he said, when it comes to human development parameters Udupi is very strong, there is a vertical growth and national advantages here.

Around 9.5 Crore was granted for Naxal package, out of which the pending amount will be used for community hall or for building the roads.

Sand mining and stone quarries are State based issue so what is applicable for the state, will also be applied here too, however systematic approach is important, he stressed.

Development will never be instigated on the cost of environment; a balanced enforcement plan will always be given importance.
