Manipal: A moving car went up in flames all of a sudden on Friday, April 17, in Manipal and within a few seconds, the car was reduced to ashes.

The car belongs to Udupi resident Bhagirathi, who was on his way to Manipal KMC Hospital from Udupi when the incident occurred.

First, the engine caught fire and Bhagirathi immediately stopped the car.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene were able to extinguish the fire.

A case has been registered at the Manipal police station in this connection.
