Karkala : MLA Sunil Kumar inspected the ongoing work of Sanoor-Kuntalpady road construction here on August 19.

460.02 lakhs will be spent for the road construction under Pradhan Mantri Gram sadak yojan.

The work began in March 5, 2014 is almost at the final stage. The will come to an end in the 2nd week of December. The work is carried by Udupi Panchayath Raj department Engineers.

The department has instructed the contractor Kishor Kumar from Kapu to finish the construction work at the earliest.

Sanoor gram panchayath president Karunakar Kotyan, Taluk panchayath ex member Subhas Kamath, Sanoor gram panchayath ex president Narasimha Kamath were present.
