Udupi: An ardent disciple of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejawar Math, Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti, arrived to the city to attend the Paryaya on Monday January 17.

It may be recalled that had given the Pejawar seer had given the Sadhvi Deeksha to Uma Bharathi.

She informed the media that she is excited as her guru is going to create history. She also said that the seer is a role model to the society as he has been working for the upliftment of the downtrodden even at this age.

Asked about politics, she declined to comment saying she was here for the Paryaya and said she would talk politics some other time.

Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swamiji had earlier informed that he will talk to Uma Bharti on quashing Yettinahole project and that he will also send a message on the same issue to PM Modi through her.
