Udupi: The India Meteorological Department and Meteorological Centre, Bengaluru has forewarned of heavy rainfall July 17 to 21 in the coastal districts of Karnataka.

Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to occur in isolated areas of all the districts of Coastal Karnataka from 115 mm to 204 mm as per the weather forecast.

Meanwhile, scattered or heavy rain is also likely to shower in Kodagu and Malnadu areas including Shivmogga district.
