Udupi: One person died after a Maruthi omni fell off Mattu bridge last night on July 19.

Reportedly, the driver of the omni identified as Satish Shetty (35), lost control of the vehicle which then fell from the bridge. He was a resident of Karkala.

Kaup Police informed that Satish was on his way to his wife’s residence at Mattu. His body was retrieved and will be handed over to his family once the legal formalities are done.

Kaup police have registered a case.
