Udupi: Three overseas persons joined 70 others in a unique rickshaw run with the goal of raising funds for projects undertaken to protect nature. The adventurous journey is undertaken across the world in order to reach awareness to protect the environment.

The three foreigners Stuart Lee Warner, Terry Allen Blesso and Trent Stanton reached Udupi on Wednesday, 4th January on their journey from Kochi to Jaisalmer in Rajasthan.
Stuart Lee Warner said that their aim is to collect fund for a better cause. ‘Cool Earth Environmental Charity’ works in partnership with indigenous communities. Cool Earth works strategically protecting forests that act as a barrier to a wider landscape. Most of the fund collected from the autorickshaw run goes to Cool Earth and other remaining goes to charity purposes.
Many of us have left our jobs and families for taking up this adventurous journey. Our main intention to understand people to conserving nature and it will be amazing experience and is the best opportunity to experience India’s diversity.
The journey began on 31st December, 2016. There are teams from England, United States of America and Thailand among other countries of the world. The rickshaws are designed to get attention of the people as it passes by them so as to raise curiosity and receive funds.
