Udupi: In the aftermath of the shocking quadruple murder in Udupi, Karnataka, district in-charge minister Laxmi Hebbalkar visited the family of the victims on Friday, November 17. The minister expressed her condolences to Noor Mohammed, the head of the family, and his son Assad, along with other family members at their residence in Nejar.
Addressing the media after the visit, Minister Hebbalkar condemned the heinous act as demonic and assured that the police department is actively working on the case. She emphasized the need for a fast-track investigation and pledged to take precautionary measures to maintain law and order in Udupi.
Responding to the concerns raised by locals about the delayed visit, Hebbalkar explained that she was in Belagavi and had been in contact with the family and the police department. She expressed her commitment to ensuring justice and cooperation with the ongoing investigation.
Noor Mohammed, speaking to the media after the minister’s visit, appreciated the response and confidence provided by Hebbalkar. The family has demanded a speedy court hearing and requested the appointment of advocate Shivaprasad Alva as the public prosecutor, a request that the minister has assured to cooperate with.
