Udupi: Krishna Byre Gowda, State Minister for Agriculture, inaugurated the newly constructed Farmers Information Centre in the Assistant Agricultural Director’s office premise, Adi-Udupi here on June 23.

After the inauguration, Krishna Byre Gowda handed over 4 tractors, 1 tiller and 3 power weeders to the farmers on behalf of Udupi Zilla Panchayat and Agriculture Department.

Minister for Fisheries, Sports and Youth Empowerment and District In-charge Pramod Madhwaraj, CMC President Meenakshi Madhav Bannanje, Vice President of Zilla Panchyat Sheela K Shetty, President of Udupi Taluk Panchayat Nalini Pradeep Rao, Joint Agricultural Director Dr. Chandrashekar Naik, Assistant Agricultural Director Mohanraj, other officials and farmers were present.
