Udupi: Karnataka Health Minister B Sreeramulu visited the district hospital and inspected the hospital infrastructure in Udupi on Friday, September 27 evening. He then reluctantly spent one night at the hospital.

Speaking to reporters, the minister said, “The government will make a sincere effort to rectify the shortcomings within the state’s healthcare sector.”

Udupi MLA K Raghupathi Bhat, Kaup MLA Lalaji Mendon, Zilla Panchayat president Dinakar Babu, district-level party leaders, health department officials, hospital staff and others accompanied the minister during the inspection.
